Pickled Walnuts are known as “King of the Pickles” and were very popular in England in the 18th Century.  Due to the considerable time and effort required to make them they have largely gone unnoticed in recent decades.  However, here at Otway Walnuts we have decided to bring them back to their rightful “King of the Pickles” position where they belong!
 
Serving Suggestions.
Our Traditional Pickled Walnuts (Old English Style) is based on the original 18th century recipe and is made with Malt Vinegar, Sugar, Spices and contains No Artifical Preservatives.
 
Old English Style Pickled Walnuts are wonderful served as they are or with cheese and cold meats and they are also great in many cooked dishes. They are also great with a cheese platter, scattered over a salad, served with meat or enjoyed with a gourmet Ploughman’s Lunch.
 
Shipping.
We do post out orders for 1 jar of Pickled Walnuts at a time. However, we can also post 2 or 3 jars for the same postage cost thus providing greater value for your postage fee.
